Chernomorets

Chernomorets is a small, quiet town wonderfully located on the Black Sea coast, situated on a peninsula near Bourgas.  Chernomorets is located 23km south of Bourgas and 8km from the charming historic town of Sozopol. The village has a rich history, dating back to ancient times, when it was named St. Nikola. The elements that distinguish this village from most tourist-oriented resorts, is the original beach - rocky and divided by shallow bays, creating "private" places for lazing and sunbathing. The beaches here are hidden from the wind between rocks, partially covered with low vegetation and young trees. All of them are perfect for sea bathing and offer many activities. If you wish to get away from crowded places, Chernomorets will surely delight you with its clean and calm coastline.  If you prefer an active holiday, Chernomorets will not disappoint either, as it is an excellent place for all kinds of water sports. The unique Royal Beach allows water skiing, fishing, jumping into the water, sea excursions, and there is also a separate nudist section. From May to September, the water temperature reaches about 22 degrees Celsius, making swimming possible even in October. At the same time, the summer heat is helped by a fresh sea breeze.Chernomorets offers many accommodations in modern houses, villas and small hotels, and cozy restaurants are tempting. Most of them are located on the seashore, with a wonderful, romantic panorama of the last rays of the setting sun gently illuminating the rocks. Also worthy of great attention are the pubs on Trades Street. The traditional taverns here create a special atmosphere of the village. Local restaurants offer varied artistic programs, fine drinks and delicious meals prepared by true master chefs.
