Sunny Beach

Sunny Beach is the largest and most famous resort complex in Bulgaria, with the longest and widest beach, natural sand dunes, and a clear, calm sea. It sits in a crescent-shaped bay about 35 km north of Burgas, bordered to the north by the foothills of the Stara Planina and to the south by the ancient town of Nessebar.

The 8-km strip of fine golden sand and shallow sandy seabed makes it ideal for families and active travellers alike. The climate brings around 1,700 hours of sunshine between May and October, with average summer temperatures of 27 °C and a sea that stays warm well into autumn.
