Bulgarians are characterized by peace and balance. Bulgarians start their day with a cup of coffee and never miss a lunch break, which often lasts even over an hour. Feasting is a national tradition. The table should bend with dishes.

Bulgarians love and worship their traditions and rich history. Holidays are celebrated here with panache and observance of all customs that have been cultivated for centuries. Even in small towns you will find monuments that will tell you about past events related to a given place. Every Bulgarian and every Bulgarian are proud not only of their country, but also of the city, so we will gladly tell you about its history and monuments.

The character of the nation is reflected in its traditions and culture. Faithfulness to the past and a kind of conservatism allowed the Bulgarians to preserve old customs. The old rite of the "dance of fire", consisting of walking on hot coals, is until now considered one of the most characteristic elements of the Bulgarian cultural heritage. As previously believed, this rite was to protect against evil and predict the future. Nowadays, walking on coals is a beautiful and unusual tradition, accompanied by playing the drum and bagpipes.

Bulgarians live longer than other nations. According to scientists, this is due to low stress levels, regular physical activity and ... bacteria contained in Bulgarian yoghurts. Inhabitants of this country like to play sports, eat healthy foods, and approach life extremely positively. That is why centenarians in this country do not surprise anyone.

The importance of some gestures in Bulgarians is different from their importance in other countries. Nodding means opposition, shaking sideways means agreement.
