Sunny Beach impresses with its unique nature and picturesque beach covered with fine, golden sand, clear sea and wonderful sun: 1,700 hours of sun from May to the end of October, where the name of the resort comes from.
The beach stretches for 8 km and is 30 to 60 m wide. There are natural dunes along the beach, among which 16 species of rare plants grow. The sea bottom on the beach is level and the sea is usually calm and clear.
There is also an excellent and varied sports base for practicing water and land sports and a lot of attractions for children: playgrounds, swimming pools, water slides, amusement parks.

Behind Sunny Beach is a small town, Saint Vlas, which due to its location and climate values is transforming into one of the most visited places in the last several years. At this point, the slopes of the Stara Planina mountain descend towards the sea. Air currents between the sea and the mountains create a unique climate phenomenon, creating crystal-clear pollen-free air. The beach, over 1000 m long, attracts tourists with its cleanliness and warm water. The city is also known for its yacht port. The marina offers everything that is needed for sailing enthusiasts.
On the road from Sunny Beach towards Bourgas is Aheloy, a quiet town with a sandy beach, pier and marina.
Sozopol, located 34 km south of Bourgas, extends over two rocky peninsulas and divides into Old and New Sozopol. . Sozopol's sights focus on the old town with its winding streets and picturesque alleys, with houses with stone ground floors and characteristic wooden overhanging floors. Wide sandy beaches gently sloping into the sea provide active and enjoyable rest.
The well-known youth holiday resort Primorsko lies at the mouth of the Diawołska River, on a peninsula, between the bays of Stampolo and Diawołska (Devil's). It is known for its beautiful 10-kilometer beach adjacent to the old oak forest. Five kilometers further south lies the slightly smaller resort of Kiten, with numerous campsites and a windsurfing base.
Further south is the charming Tsarevo, with a beautiful beach and a cozy little harbor. The spa is occupied by a peninsula on which citrus, tea bushes and eucalyptus trees adjoin the beaches. The sea water here is considered to be the cleanest on the entire Bulgarian coast.
Beaches are free - no entry fees. However, it should be remembered that some of the beaches are leased, with deckchairs and umbrellas payable. It is of course possible to stock up on your own sunbathing equipment (umbrellas are sold in shops and stalls - forum members state that the cost of an umbrella on a market stall is about 10-11 left) and towels (they should not be taken from hotels). Resting with their own equipment are located in a place where there are no "company" umbrellas.
